Between now and April, I plan on looking at as many prospects as I can for the 2024 Draft and will spend 200 snaps with each of them and then share my thoughts with you. I don’t claim to be some high draft authority and will have plenty of missed evaluations, but I watch each of these guys as best I can. I still think it is better to do the work than to shrug and say “nobody knows.” Each of these profiles will be short, but I will attempt to provide a thumbnail sketch as well as some information and videos (borrowed from twitter) to expedite our project.

Today, we watch our 5th OL prospect and another one who might bump inside as a pro player – depending on the eye of the beholder – Jordan Morgan.

#77 - OL - Jordan Morgan - Age 23 - 6’5 - 320 - Arizona

Jordan Morgan is yet another tackle who has impressed us in this class and we can see that for a team that wants offensive line help, there will be quite a few high-end opportunities this year. He is a hometown kid who stayed home for college.

Morgan has played five years in the Wildcats offense and has been a left tackle throughout and a starter for 2021-2023 and has been named All-Pac 12 in both of his last two seasons. His 2022 ended early with an ACL injury so it was important for him to recover and demonstrate that his play could return to a high level this year. He did that and provided his medicals clear this spring, we have few concerns about his health situation.

That said, the mystery with Morgan is where the league sees him. On tape, his work at tackle is more than a passing grade, but we know that they are wondering about his length and the issues with his arm length. This is a conversation that is well worn, but consistent every draft season. Does a particular tackle have enough arm length/wingspan to be able to handle the edge in the National Football League?
