We continue with our look at our 4th edge rusher with a day with Laiatu Latu from UCLA:

No. 15 - Laiatu Latu - Age 23 - RS Senior - 6’5 - 259 - UCLA - 4.64

I have heard plenty about this guy, but it has always been the same basic thing. People love him, but those medicals are going to determine everything. Apparently, at Washington he had a nasty neck injury during a preseason practice in 2020 and needed surgery. The following spring, it was announced that he had retired from football due to the injury. Next thing you know, he is off the UCLA where he plays two of the most incredible seasons of defensive football that you will find. So, yeah, some retirement!
