Hairston is a true slot corner who had a very big 2023 and had an incredible athletic profile.
Michigan native, played both ways in high school and ran track. He was a 3-star recruit as the 66th ranked corner and 19th ranked Michigan prospect. He committed to Kentucky in Class of ‘21.
Redshirted 2021 and played special teams in 2022.
2023 - All SEC and led conference with 5 interceptions
2024 - All SEC, but missed nearly two months with a shoulder injury in middle of the year. Invited to Senior Bowl.
2023 - 747 snaps, 67 targets, 6 missed tackles, 4 pens, 67.5 QB Rating - 81.8 PFF
2024 - 297 snaps, 2 targets, 6 missed tackles, 2 pens, 78.2 QB rating - 67.0 PFF
Hairston’s tape is all from 2024 with the South Carolina and Georgia games coming before his absence and the Texas game from November after he returned to action.
