2025 Draft Profile - Miami QB Cam Ward
Ward has been a well-seasoned QB with composure and poise. Now, to the NFL!
Our last profile in this project that began back in January is finally here. And I waited until this very last moment to do what we all believe is the No. 1 pick overall.
No. 1 - Cam Ward - Age 22 - RS Senior - 6’2 - 219 - Miami (Fla)
The Texan has been well-traveled and now finds himself headed for Nashville.
From West Columbia, Texas, he played in a high school where he ran the Wing-T and therefore was not recruited at all and ended up at Incarnate Word of San Antonio (Southland Conference) for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
Followed Eric Morris to Washington State (or potentially the other way around) and was part of two trying seasons there before graduating and declaring for draft.
2024 changed mind on drat and played at Miami, Florida, where he changed the narrative on his draft status and future.
2024 - Davey O’Brien Award Winner, ACC Player of the Year, All American
2022 - 501 attempts, 23 TD’s, 9 INT’s, 10 BTT’s, 21 TWP’s - 59.9 PFF
