He had to wait his turn, but immediately gained draft attention in 2024 as one of many new starters on an offense that was excellent all season long.
Englewood, Colorado native was a 3-star recruit (also a basketball player) who chose Texas from a number of options in the class of ‘21.
2021 was all special teams and 2022 & 2023 was used fractionally more each year as a backup option at tight end.
2024 All-SEC (2nd team) - had a massive breakout season and was exceptional.
2022 - 260 snaps, 100% receptions, 10% slot, 0 drops - 55.3 PFF
2023 - 553 snaps, 82% receptions, 14% slot, 0 drops - 49.0 PFF
2024 - 1054 snaps, 82% receptions, 22% slot, 2 drops - 62.9 PFF
