No. 2 - Will Johnson - Age 21 - Junior - 6’2 - 194 - Michigan
Will was part of that Michigan defense in 2023 that won the national championship – a game in which he had a key interception against Michael Penix. His 2024 was much more mixed with health concerns before pulling the plug to get ready for this draft.
Native of Detroit and played both ways at Grosse Point South. Was All-State and a 5-star recruit who committed to Michigan to follow in his father’s footsteps in class of ‘22. Rated 4th CB overall (Travis Hunter was 1st).
2022 Freshman All-American as starter.
2023 All-Big Ten (1st), All-American (1st), national champion, Defensive MVP in National Title Game.
All-Big Ten (2nd), All-American (2nd) - Left the season after Week 8 with turf toe and also dealt with a shoulder and hamstring. Will not run his 40 until a private workout on April 14.
