Mukuba is a very interesting player who played free safety in Texas after playing a lot more in the box as a strong safety or slot corner at Clemson. By all accounts the positional changed did him very well in 2024.
a native of Harare, Zimbabwe from parents who were refugees from Congo. His family granted asylum to the USA when he was nine in Austin, Texas. He became a 4-star recruit with great track abilities in class of ‘21 as the 31st best Texas prospect.
First starting DB for Clemson as a true freshman in 50 years and won ACC Defensive Rookie of the year.
2024 All-SEC (3rd) after entering portal to join Texas for final season.
