2025 Profile - Utah State WR Jalen Royals
A Mountain West prospect shows off plenty of upside and the ability to explode deep.
I was told I need to fit one more wide receiver into my group. This one:
No. 1 - Jalen Royals - Age 22 - Senior - 6’0 - 205 - 4.42 - Utah State
Didn’t know anything about Royals or Utah State this year, so this is all learning on the fly.
Native of Georgia, but took the scenic route to get here. Another guy who went completely unrated as a recruit. Multi sport athlete with basketball and track, but academics caused issues initially and went to Georgia Military College at first.
Landed at Utah State in 2022 and barely played that year, but then broke out nicely.
2023 All Mountain West (1st)
2024 All Mountain West (2nd), foot injury in October, missed remainder of year.
2022 - 48 snaps, 0% receptions, 0% slot, 1 drops - 47.8 PFF
2023 - 908 snaps, 71% receptions, 9% slot, 5 drops - 78.6 PFF
2024 - 461 snaps, 68% receptions, 22% slot, 3 drops - 79.6 PFF
