'24 Draft Profile - Tex A&M's McKinnley Jackson
Let's take a look at the large prototypical space-eating, run-stopper from Aggieland.
It is certainly interesting that several of the top DT prospects on our list this year are guys we watched play in the fall. Byron Murphy and T’Vondre Sweat for the Longhorns and McKinnley Jackson for the Aggies right down the road. This is Jackson’s chance to get the examination today:
No. 3 - McKinnley Jackson - Senior - 6’1 - 325 - 33 ⅞ arms - Texas A&M
Jackson is one of many highly-touted defensive tackles from Jimbo Fisher recruiting classes and was always one of the main names discussed when we would talk about their defense who had plenty of moments during his time there. He was a regular in each of his four seasons there where he played close to 1,400 snaps and about 350 per season. He had plenty of moments and flashes along the way as he played plenty of battles against top level competition.
We took a look at the Auburn, Alabama, and LSU tapes in our write-up and found a bit to post here. He wears No. 3 in in his 2023 tape.
