I think with all the negativity floating around the 2024 Cowboys, we should allow ourselves an opportunity or two to get irrationally positive about something.

I also assume that if you read this newsletter, you know how excited I get about offensive line play and how important it is to the health and quality of a football team. If you have an excellent offensive line, odds are pretty good that you will have an excellent football season.

In covering the Cowboys all these years, that has been a piece of very good news, as they have a gift for finding these guys. It is hard to find proper offensive line play, and this organization has had its share of misses—we still wonder why Connor Williams and Connor McGovern yielded so little—but for the most part, they keep finding guys who can really help them.

I think they may have done it again.
