He arrived at Alabama with all sorts of 5-star hype and he left with just as much. McKinstry is a local kid who has played well over 2,000 snaps with the Crimson Tide in three seasons and always looked the part of a big-time cornerback. He played in every game and always looked in pretty solid control of the situation.
