Draft Profile - Michigan's CB Mike Sainristil
Versatile player who is figuring it all out of the ball jumps off the screen with potential.
Ok, we have diverted our #Sturm60 plan as we knock out our 47th spot and have decided we need to use these last 14 profiles on “guys who fit the Cowboys potential needs and spots in the draft.” It is a complex formula that changes by the minute!
Today, let’s work on Michigan do-it-all cornerback, Mike Sainristil.
No. 0 - Mike Sainristil - Age 23 - Graduate - 5’9 - 182 - Michigan
Mike is incredibly unique in this draft class because he switched positions two years ago after beginning his college career for the Wolverines as a wide receiver. But, going into the 2022 seasons, they decided to switch him to cornerback and he has started every game since.
Quite a feat, to say the least to go from a guy who had never played the position to a guy who was a central player for Michigan to win the National Championship, so he comes with quite a reputation. Yet, he is also extremely inexperienced. Like I said, incredibly unique player.
