Draft Profile - Oregon's CB Khyree Jackson

The talent is not a question, but the overall case is a bit complicated to say the least.

I believe the final defensive back we will profile in this project is a player I knew very little about before watching him play. But, once I saw him, I certainly started wondering if I was missing something that everyone else knew. I shall explain below as we profile Oregon’s Khyree Jackson.

No. 5 - Khyree Jackson - Age 24 - Senior - 6’4 - 194 - Oregon

Jackson took the long route here. He went to a year of junior college in 2019, had the COVID year knock out his 2020, then two years of light action at Alabama, followed by his 2023 where he established his credentials at Oregon.

Once he finally played a full season under the spotlight, it became clear that he does not lack for ability as he was All-PAC 12 and an instant standout. The questions about his well-traveled road did require a little further investigation. But, the tape is the tape. And the tape is quite impressive.
