Draft Profile - Penn State's Hunter Nourzad
Nourzad has only played one year at center, but his 2023 was impressive for Penn St.
Our 60th and final feature in the 2024 #Sturm60 ended up being a late addition as I was trying to add one more center to our stack. It came down to Beaux Limmer from Arkansas or Hunter Nourzad of Penn State and after deliberation, I just think Nourzad is a slightly better player and perhaps a better fit for the Cowboys. We shall see. Let’s show you Hunter Nourzad, Penn State:
No. 64 - Hunter Nourzad - Age 24 - RS SR - 6’3 - 317 - Penn State
Nourzad took a while, but with all of these older prospects in this year’s draft (thanks alot, COVID) it served him very well. He was a no-star recruit out of high school who took the long road to here. Four years at Cornell and then entered the portal after a huge 2021 where he was heavily courted by many powers. Went to Penn State and flourished with his big breakout coming in his sixth season when he was moved to center.
