Just about every season, the smaller schools produce a high-end prospect and we knew back in January that one of this year’s top possibilities was going to be the star of the Senior Bowl, Toledo’s Quinyon Mitchell. I must admit I have been looking forward to this one:

The first thing people ask when a guy like Mitchell comes along is often, “why did he end up at Toledo?” It is a fair question. Even more-so is the question of why he decided to stay there and not enter the portal when the NFL started gaining interest and intrigue. Either way, he stayed put and now it sort of looks like it won’t affect his outcome. He is very highly thought of based on three seasons of high-end defense.
