Morning After - Eagles Destroy The Chiefs
Super Bowl 59 was too one-sided, but messages were sent to the Dallas Cowboys.
The football season has come to a close in a way many of us will remember from our youth – an incredibly uninteresting Super Bowl finale to cap off a very enjoyable season.
Last night provided little in the way of excitement, drama, or intrigue. The fact of the matter was that on this day, the favorite at game-time was overmatched in every way and the underdog won in a one-sided laugher. We learned the lesson of over-valuing the QB position, although we will never truly learn because we will make the same mistake next time.
And yes, there are plenty of Dallas Cowboys takeaways. So, let’s try to enjoy our last Morning After opportunity for about seven months, because NFL Opening Night is 206 days away, while offering you this with a lean towards things that a Cowboys fan could observe from last night’s game.

This was a great case for the “defense wins championships” crowd as the Eagles defense played its best possible game on the biggest stage against the scariest opponent. The Vic Fangio hire was a home run from the moment that news broke.
