Vegas starts faster than the Stars and it costs Dallas the home-ice advantage already.

Three Thoughts is back for these NBA and NHL Playoffs. No matter how tricky it might be to put one out for each game – especially this week with the NFL Draft occupying three full days – I would like to vow to you that either sometime that night or sometime the next morning, I will give you a reasonable account of my thoughts for each Stars and Mavericks playoff game for as long as they can survive and advance.

Here we go again.

The Dallas Stars have again fallen behind in a playoff series by losing Game 1 to Vegas in Dallas on Monday, 4-3. They now trail the series, 1-0, and face a rather daunting prospect of a pseudo-must win in Game 2 on Wednesday.
