NFL Draft Profile - Clemson's Jeremiah Trotter Jr
NFL bloodlines emerge from Clemson as the son of Jeremiah Trotter is examined next.
Not sure how many of our readers remember native-Texan Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter who played at a Pro Bowl and even All-Pro level for many years. Well, as will happen in professional sports, today we get to look at his son, Jeremiah Trotter, Jr, from Clemson.
No. 54 - Jeremiah Trotter, Jr - Age 21 - Junior - 6’0 - 228 - Clemson
Trotter has had a decorated career at Clemson which included him playing as a true freshman mostly on special teams and then getting a bit of work on defense. From there, he played back to back seasons as a full starter and regular in 2022 and 2023 where he became a household name for his quality and not just his father’s quality.
The biggest distinction from his 3rd round draft pick dad would be his body size as they both were roughly the same height, but the senior Trotter was over 260 pounds and this one is under 230. Of course, both mirror the position in their era as that position does not look like it once did.
