NFL Draft Profile - Notre Dame's Audric Estime

Estime offers a wide array of skills and attributes that pushes him nicely up the list.

Before we wrap up our running back stack, I was excited to dive into the tape of a few of the bigger guys on our list. Today’s will be the Notre Dame big bruiser, Audric Estime, who doesn’t seem to be that big of a bruiser since he cut weight for the combine and is listed at just 221.

No. 7 - Audric Estime - Age 20 - Junior - 5’11 - 221 - 4.71 - Notre Dame

The first thing that comes to mind when I write up Estime is simply this – this is a very nice group of running backs and this one might be another chance to reference Bryan Broaddus, the longtime NFL scout and now media colleague, who helped teach me how to watch film and evaluate prospects almost 20 years ago. One of the first things he said when we were watching someone play on film was, “this might just come down to ice cream.” I was confused. He was ready for that confusion as he said, “pick your favorite flavor and I will pick mine.” It won’t make one of us right and another wrong, but sometimes a tie-breaker is simply based on what personally appeals to you more than another.

Estime’s measureables are all well within the ranges we want. Almost.
