NFL Draft Profile - USC RB Marshawn Lloyd
Lloyd brings plenty of desirable traits to table as another possibility on Day 2 at RB.
We have 12 prospects to go and have chosen 12 players that we think are in the mix as potential Day 2-or-early Day 3 Dallas Cowboys targets. Of course, some of this is our own brilliant deductions and wild guesses, but I want to cover as many of the items on the buffet line as possible. That means there are two more RBs to examine and today, let’s knock out Marshawn Lloyd from both USC and USC.
No. 0 - Marshawn Lloyd - Age 23 - RS Junior - 5’9 - 220 - 4.46 - USC
Marshawn is one of the very rare college football players who can say he played at South Carolina before transferring to Southern California to finish his run with the Trojans. He led his team in rushing in each of the last two seasons, despite missing time in each of them. He also was one of a very small number of rushers who had over 100 carries and still averaged 7 yards per carry in 2023. And, to add to that, he was quite a capable receiver.
