NFL Draft Profile - Wisconsin's Braelon Allen
Braelon Allen brings a lot to the table, but the question is mostly about the price.
Our last running back of this first pass will be out of the running back factory in my backyard, it is the very curious case of young Braelon Allen.
No. 0 - Braelon Allen - Age 20 - Junior - 6’1 - 235 - Wisconsin
There are three major reasons why I find Braelon Allen extremely interesting. No. 1, when he was recruited by Wisconsin, it was primarily to be a defensive player as he was tabbed to be a linebacker. But, they needed a proper successor to Jonathan Taylor so he was a RB. No. 2, when he played in the 2021 season as a true freshman and had 1300 yards from scrimmage, he was just 17 years old for the entire year and just had his 20th birthday in late January. And No. 3, while we list him at 235, most reports say he played last season much closer to 245. He is a tank.
