Stars Fire DeBoer - Does That Make Sense?
We attempt to understand and explain the Stars deciding to go in different direction.
This one is certainly difficult to explain.
That is my job, to an extent. I try to explain decisions our local teams make to people that are often too busy with life to spend hours and hours figuring out what happened. So, the local basketball team trades everyone’s favorite player and I am supposed to have some quick and easy explanation.
I had no good explanation at all.
Ok, well, let’s try this one then. “Bob,” my neighbor asks, “why did the Stars fire their coach? Weren’t they pretty close to winning it all again?”
I answered, “Yes, they certainly were. He was here three years and they made it to the final four all three of those years.”
“So, why did he get fired?”
“It’s a great question. I wish I had a great answer.”
