This Year is Different - AUDIOBOOK, Ch 1-2
Here for all Mavericks enthusiasts to enjoy - provided you enjoy these types of things.
Once upon a time, the Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Championship. It was my favorite sports story of them all.
So, since I had a bucket list that said I wanted to both: A) write a sports book someday on a topic that was worthy and then B) find it someday randomly while just perusing a book store looking for some other book, I did it.
Despite not knowing what I was doing and definitely not knowing how to publicize and distribute it, I wrote an entire book on the 2011 Dallas Mavericks championship story and called it, “This Year Is Different” - How the Mavs won it all.
As you can see, the cover art was what happens when you agree to whatever and don’t have the rights to anything, but overall, I am proud that it exists even though I don’t think I ever want to write one again.
Enough about me.
Today, as I begin my week’s vacation, I want to share with you the first two chapters below as I have finally decided to record the audiobook and was able to finish these two before vacation started. Until now, the audiobook version hasn’t existed, but I want to change that. It takes a while and I won’t complete it until after Cowboys camp, I assume, but we have started climbing the lengthy hill.
So, enjoy these, if you’d like. If you do listen to them, please offer thoughts on your interest in the entire book. I will likely make them available to subscribers as a bonus item when I have completed the task, but like the book, I just wanted it to exist for those who might like it in my voice, so I finally took action.
