13 years ago I wrote the only book I believe I will ever write. It was great fun but also a titanic undertaking that I am happy I did and also happy I finished. I wanted to make sure anyone who had the desire could walk through the magical championship run of Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks.

I count it as one of the greatest sports stories (probably the greatest) that I had ever witnessed. So, for my one book, I knew this would be the one topic worthy of dropping everything and cranking out every detail of the season.

I was thrilled to get full cooperation from Mark Cuban, Rick Carlisle, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Brian Cardinal, and Jason Terry. Many others did what they could, too.

But, I always thought there should be an audiobook, too. And today, finally, there is one.
