Three Thoughts - Knights at Stars, Gm 5
Back at home in a packed and rocking building, Stars attempt to grab series by throat.
The great and stressful hockey just keeps coming.
Three Thoughts is my quick overview and list of takeaway from each and every DFW playoff game and a mandatory pleasure. We must treasure each playoff game and series and give them our full attention because they can come and go in a hurry if we don’t. I will post these either the night of or the morning after each game right here.
Wednesday night, Dallas protected home ice and won their 3rd consecutive game in this series by outlasting Vegas again, 3-2. That close and dramatic win gives them a chance to end the 1st Round on Friday as they now also have a three-game-to-two advantage in the series. What a turn of events.
These are My Three Thoughts:
– The series has been wonderful and it is made more wonderful when the team that was better all season starts to figure out the answers to the questions that dug their hole to begin.
Yes, this is a Dallas Stars space and so when we look at a series or a game like this, it is always going to be from their perspective, unapologetically. But, that is really the story of this series, right? Dallas has been an excellent hockey team that had to try to sort out a few things if they were going to make those little plays that make all the difference.
