Three Thoughts - Luka and Mavs Win Gm 2
By now, we are all starting to realize this for what it actually is: He is the Chosen One.
Unbelievable. All of it. The first two games in Minnesota to start this Western Conference Finals have been absolutely unbelievable theater all across the board. They have been classic games throughout with two teams trading massive punches and staggering each-other.
But, in the end, this sport is about who can make the last big shot and those clutch moments are what separate the very good players from the very best.
Let there be no question about which are on Dallas’ side. For the second game in a row, a very close game was decided because Dallas has two special finishers and Minnesota may not have any right now.
Dallas took Game 2, 109-108, at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Friday Night and did it after trailing by 18 points on a few different occasions. They take a commanding two-games-to-zero lead as they return to Texas for three of the next four games in Dallas. If they can win two of the next five (if necessary) they will play in the NBA Finals in June.
These are My Three Thoughts:
–I cannot believe what a roll this basketball team is on and it starts with never feeling like they are out of a game. They fall behind by 18 points and don’t even get too bothered because the Mavericks have a knack for figuring things out as they go through a game. They remain calm, composed, and in control and before long, the home crowd is realizing with dread that Dallas is right back in the game. You cannot knock them out, it seems.
