Like Clockwork, Luka Dončić proves once again you won't like him when he's angry.

Three Thoughts. You know the rules by now.

Thursday in Oklahoma City, the Mavericks had to prove they had some answers to the questions that are now being asked of them against the top-seed in the Western Conference.

Well, asked and answered, as Dallas scores a tough and well-earned road win in Game 2 of these Western Conference Semifinals with a 119-110 win over Oklahoma City that ties the series at one game each. Game 3 is slated for Saturday Afternoon back in Dallas and this series is officially on.

And, of course, these are My Three Thoughts:

–Luka Dončić is one of a kind. There is plenty to marvel at and a bit to be frustrated with from time to time. Yes, he is both a genius and someone still learning the path to being a champion in real time. He is a master and susceptible to predictable traps. But, if there is one thing that you can absolutely set your watch to, it is that he plays better when he gets angry and that more importantly, odds are if you are the opponent, you shouldn’t make him angry. Because you won’t like him when he is angry.

Now, why is he angry? I suppose it is quite a list. He is in a shooting slump and he is hurt. In fact, he may be in a shooting slump because he is hurt. Or, he is frustrated because he isn’t getting any calls. Or, because your fans are calling him “fat.” Or because he is getting criticized for one thing or another. Or, because he is only 3rd in MVP voting.
