Three Thoughts - Stars Even Series, Gm 2
Stars have a big night from a lot of guys who needed big nights and pull even in series.
Three Thoughts after every playoff game of each Big 4 DFW team can be expected in this space when it happens. Sometimes the night of and other times the first thing in the morning. Last night we had double duty at The Ticket Compound, so first the home team Dallas Stars and their Game 2 win.
They needed a win in the very worst way.
They got that win.
Everything else will be known as mere details because the series is on as the Avalanche and Stars have split the first two in Dallas. The Stars evened this clash of the titans with a 5-3 win over their long-time rivals.

That extra gear that he doesn’t always unleash is in there where he can not only extinguish fires, but also start them offensively. On Thursday, coming off a Game 1 where he felt a little bit of a personal challenge of fault and blame, he elevated brilliantly.
