For the second year in a row, the Texas Longhorns took their show on the road in the second week of the season to battle a fellow “blue-blood program” in a clash of the titans that would help show us how they measure up. And for the second year in a row, they didn’t leave much doubt. Texas is back. They never were challenged and dominated the Michigan Wolverines in the Big House in a way that we have seldom seen in ages. The game was essentially over within an hour and the second half was played only because the rules dictate as much. But, this was thorough and dominant and demonstrates Texas might have equalled or bettered their roster from last year with a 31-12 win over the Wolverines in a way the Maize and Blue will not soon forget.
