Would love to have this guy but would have to take a stud OT ahead of him. Could he fall to round 2? I doubt it. We need a big plug like this guy but can be found later or not overly expensive in FA. I wouldn’t be mad if we took him but I’m more concerned with our OL and think we need one of these stud OTs.
I'm probably higher on him than most because I had to coach OL to try to block him in HS, unsuccessfully to probably nobody's surprise.
I'd love to see him with the Cowboys but I'm afraid they have almost locked themselves into OL at #24. Hoping trade up or slide all the way down to them on the 2nd.
I'd be shocked if he gets past 12th overall. I've enjoyed the Sturm 60 for a long, long time and there are very few DT's that have tape like this that I remember.
The guy just eats any ballcarrier within a 5 yard radius.
Full disclosure: rabid burnt orange blood here, but I delighted in our stud DTs this year. To try to run on them was indeed a fool's errand! But I had a guy crush on Mr. Sweat! Soooo big and soooo talented! A true freak of nature! Find a way around our OT trouble and GRAB THIS GUY!!!
Jeez. When he gets his hands on a ball carrier they just disappear into him. He engulfs them. I think this is what we're hoping Mazi Smith will become.
