Happy Anniversary! Time For a Discount!
As we celebrate the opening of camp and completing our 2nd year at SturmStack, I want to grow the family.
About two years ago, I was sent packing by the Athletic and the New York Times. Hey, things happen. It is all good.
My opening essay, shown below, name-checked our guy, Luka. Oh, how the times change.
It forced me to tackle this brave new world on my own and we have grown this thing for 24 months and a ridiculous 659 posts in about 730 days. It has been amazing in so many ways for me to write about whatever is on my mind and to hopefully find some things you really enjoy.
Now, I want to bring some new folks into the fold. So, whether you want to call it anniversary pricing or a training camp special, let’s do a special offer.
For the rest of July, if you buy a paid subscription for one year, we will only charge you for the first eight months. $64 for a full year of everything we offer.
Basically, pay for football season (and a bit of free agency) and get the rest of the year for free. It comes out to $5.33/per month for the full year and coverage of everything I can give you, every week.
You can upgrade your free sub to a paid sub and have access to everything – or you can gift it to someone who you want to give it a shot, too. Either way, I would love to get you in the family! We are growing and perhaps this special will convince you to give it a shot.
Offer expires on July 31st.
Thanks for reading Sturmstack!
I said this plenty of times over the last 20 years. One of the best things that ever happened to me was getting fired from my last job. It forced some changes on me that I didn’t want to do because of the uncertainty of being unemployed in working for myself. However, it forced me to go out on my own, a couple of angels in the form of other human beings helped me out. One gave me an office for free for a year and another one referred me enough business that I could make it on my own . and now I’m making five times or more what I was making working at my last job. I know that God was working the entire time no doubt.
Please excuse my ignorance on how Substack works, but I don't see an option to renew at the lower rate. I am currently a yearly subscriber at $80/yr, but only see an option to change my subscription to either $8/month or $150/yr to be a Founding member.
Either way, that extra $16 isn't changing much, so not a huge deal. Keep doing what you do playboy!
