The 2025 Sturm 75 - Here is the Big Board.
Ranking our profiles from the very top to the very bottom, we go from 1-75 for you.
It is finished and done. I am happy to report that the 75th evaluation of draft prospects was completed on Monday – a full three days before the 2025 Draft.
Now, it is possible that some are not overly familiar with the Sturm 60 project that has been happening for eleven years now, and that is okay. But, rather than explaining it all from square one, allow me to leave you some reading from the last time I did explain it all here:
The 2025 "Sturm 60" Draft Primer & FAQ
Parts of this essay have been used in years past for this annual primer.
That should help you sort it out pretty well.
I definitely deviated on this year’s list because we have a new writing home, and I have zero bosses (but you guys) to tell me what to do. Given that most of you are most interested in your future Dallas Cowboys, I always try to focus on guys who are either A) prospects who everyone should care about (top 50 guys) and B) guys who I think might be in the mix in Dallas.
I really focused on the players who fit the Cowboys best, and this year, it seems clear that the Cowboys' biggest needs are:
Running Back - 8 profiles
Wide Receiver - 12 profiles
Defensive Tackle - 12 profiles
Cornerbacks - 8 profiles
So right there are 40 different players who I think would fit in the Cowboys primary Days 1-2 wheelhouse.
The other 35 were probably more diverse in trying to knock out almost every single Top 50 guy and also focusing on other Cowboys needs:
Edge Rushers - 12 profiles
Offensive Line - 9 profiles
Quarterbacks - 3 profiles
Tight Ends - 6 profiles
Safeties - 4 profiles
Linebackers - 1 profile
I realize I didn’t get to everyone, because that was never the dream. I cannot get that done. But, By doing 75 different guys, I think we are all pretty prepared for the first two days and then I have a casual knowledge of quite a few more from this process, too.
