I still point to the bye week as the time this offense exploded. They seemingly did a great job of self scouting and realized they had to trust their QB to be the guy instead of a bus driver. Their QB rewarded them more than they even imagined.

Surely they're gonna pay Lamb or the Cooper trade makes no sense.

He's been a freaking machine. Not only do I want Dallas to make a deep run for the obvious reasons, I want to continue to read his coverage about this group. Here's to four more Day Afters + Decodings!

I would hazard to believe that many of those who are anti-Dak “fans” of the Cowboys are still not over their boy Romo being kept on the bench in 2014 when he was healthy enough to return. Add in the fact that those who do not subscribe to excellent coverage as this are forced to listen to the Colin Cowherds or ESPN hot-take coverage for their football education. At the time I wasn’t completely sure (~70/30 Dak solely due to playoff experience) if it was the right idea, but as was noted previously (and just came out again recently in a Barry Church interview), that team believed it was Prescott’s time, and even the vets such as Witten felt Dak should be the guy.

Any talk of letting McCarthy go (short of a MONUMENTAL collapse tomorrow) is asinine. We finally have our QB playing at an elite level consistently throughout a season, and we want to change that out for another head coach who is more of a defensive mind, and change out a play caller again?

Re the AP all-pro team, does anyone notice how the offense would get flagged for too many men on the field (3 WRs with two backs, QB, TE and five linemen)? If we can have three WRs, add another edge rusher to the team. Not sure if Parsons would still get it due to the competition this year (although he is deserving), but given how important the position is to defense, a third vote would not make it any less important.

Regarding Kellen Moore, after seeing how his offense has performed in with the Chargers, I have Come to think that Kellen Moore success was less due to himself and more due to his offensive players here in Dallas.

Furthermore, it seems like Dak was at his best under Kellen Moore at the end of games when he could freelance in a 2 minute drill. At the end of the game with the cowboys were trying to come back, that's when Dak was absolutely lights out with his scrambling and ability to throw on the run. Therefore, I think that Kevin Moore may have even hindered that a little bit and perhaps Kellen Moore gets more accolades than he deserves.

Reading this AFTER the game. The growing review of Dan Quinn’s work with the defense almost has me shedding a tear. What a bad day for your worst defensive game plan and secondary play of the year. I really hope DQ wasn’t focused on his HC interview opportunities instead of Sunday’s game all week. But it kind of looked that way.

In the pass rusher splash plays, I’m surprised QB pressures and hits are included. Any idea why?
